BootayBag is changing the way women enjoy underwear. Normally I am not the type to sign up for subscriptions, but BootayBag is my exception. I’ve always loved shopping for underwear, it’s a guilty pleasure of mine. I work 5 days a week now and I tend to not have much time to shop for myself. Underwear has also increasingly become more expensive! Then recently I discovered BootayBag, They’re a monthly recurring subscription for women that allows you to cater your preferences to best fit your personal underwear needs. Every month you receive two pairs of undies for a flat rate of only $12!! FREE SHIPPING in the US.
HOW DOES BOOTAYBAG WORK?
It’s simple just follow the steps below to get started:
- Select your style preference “mix it up” (combo), “never thongs”, or “always thongs”
- Select your size (small, medium, large)
- Add any extras to your bag, such as the Jane bralette
- Enter the address you wish to ship to as well as the billing information
- Wait for your BootayBag to arrive
I must say I’m really happy when my undies arrive. Every pair is great quality and super cute! The packaging is also adorable. I highly recommend everyone to try it.
Also when you snap a selfie on Instagram with your BootayBag they will donate $1 to the Melanoma Foundation.
Late 2016 was the season of the bell sleeve-and its not over. You know the trend: skinny through the bicep, the trumpet sleeve bells out around the elbow or wrist. It’s no secret that the style crowd loves to add a little drama into their outfits, and this statement sleeve is the way to do it. The temperature doesn’t seem to be getting higher over here in New York. When I found this bell sleeved sweater I couldn’t wait to wear it.
Below is how I embraced this sleeve trend and how I styled this awesome sweater. I styled it with a vest, cropped raw hem denim and added a pop of color with my bag.
Happy Friday loves!
For me, a colorful bold jacket is the only piece you need to update all your looks. You can transform a tee-shirt and faded jeans just by adding a mustard colored suede jacket or amp up a little black dress with a red tweed jacket. Pieces like this remove all of the unnecessary brainstorming that it takes to put an outfit together. I’m a big believer that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
When choosing your statement jacket make sure you love the pattern and color, also think about other pieces in your wardrobe and if you can style it with them. Don’t think that because something is a “statement” piece you can only take it out on special occasions; be creative with it!
I saw this jacket and immediately wanted it, I love all the colors it has and the fun pattern. I’m also a sucker for faux fur. I styled it with a simple grey mock turtle neck tank, faded frayed denim, and open toe booties.
Take advantage of different pieces and have fun with it!
When it comes to weekend dressing I like to take a more relaxed approach, especially if I plan on walking around NYC all day. Creating an ‘Off-Duty’ look can be achieved in a range of ways.
Jeans and a plain shirt is a firm favorite when it comes to dressing for the weekend, nothing says off-duty to me more than faded denim with some rips. Give your feet a break on the weekends by opting for a pair of comfy but cute sneakers. I have a new found love and appreciation for sneakers. I used to only wear sneakers to the gym but now I incorporate them in my everyday style. For versatility purposes choose a pair in a mainly neutral color way. To finish off my look I added a fun belt, threw on a moto jacket and added a pair of ear muffs to stay warm.
We know that anything that gets dubbed “effortless” takes at least a little work. While it’s unfortunately not as simple as rolling out of bed and throwing on some clothes, nailing this off-duty look wasn’t as difficult as you might think. It all boils down to understanding that a cute outfit only needs a pair of jeans a shirt and your own personal touch to look killer.
This past Friday I was invited to an awesome event hosted by Stylinity and Lulu Frost for NYFW! If you don’t know who Stylinity is, they’re a great platform that makes social media shoppable. They connect bloggers, influencers, and brands to create great social content you can shop!
This Style Soiree was the perfect destination to rest, relax and recharge in between fashion shows. We got to mingle with other bloggers, like Gergana of Fashion is my Forte, and supermodel Veronica Webb. We also got a sneak peek into the latest spring collections from Lulu Frost, Raen, and Shoe b.
I had such an awesome time drinking champagne, snacking on cupcakes and getting to meet other stylish girls in the industry! Here’s a few photos from the event.
Regardless of your relationship status, Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday to wear your heart on your sleeve.. or skirt, or flats. While most years my boyfriend and I celebrated low-key at home cooking a special meal together or ordering in some Chinese, this year we decided to go out. I love to get dressed up and am definitely a supporter of pink, red and everything girly that comes with this holiday!
My love has decided to surprise me this year, I am not exactly sure of our plans except that it will include delicious food! I wanted to put together the perfect look that wasn’t over the top or screamed cheesy. Red can be a powerful color that you might not think is for you. I decided to showcase red in a subtle way. I chose a see through white blouse with red flower embroidery on the top. I added a black lace bralette underneath, black skinny pants and my beautiful red bottom heels. In case I got cold I paired the outfit with a shiny black cropped jacket.
Valentine’s is just a few short days away, so get your shopping on!
So you’ve got a job interview, and you’re thinking what am I going to wear? Yes, it’s your personality and skills that matter, but your appearance is often what your interviewer will first notice- and it can go a long way in showing them that you’re professional, ambitious, and most importantly a great fit for the company.
There’s not one approach for what to wear. From your jacket to shoes to even your accessories, you’ll want to consider the culture of the place your applying to.
I’m a recent fashion graduate from FIT. I’ve been going on interviews a lot lately. It’s difficult to know what to wear when you’re gunning for a fashion industry job where the employees look more like gucci models than gap outfitted cubical dwellers. You’re going to have to dress the part, dressing too stuffy and corporate will not get you the job. You must dress polished and professional but still fun.
I decided to take a usual corporate look and make it more trendy. I found a basic white button down with a fun bow detail in the front. For my pants I went with a navy color instead of black that had a great flower detail on the hem. I stayed classic with nude pumps and trench coat and also added a cute pearl choker!
Above all you want to target the job you’re applying for. Having a killer look might not get you the job, but it’ll make sure you stay in the running.
